Pink Floyd Sync
This is really really off-topic, but I was wondering if anyone has ever syncronized Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of The Moon with The Wizard of Oz. I know it works, but I was wondering how cool it is. I am probably going to buy The Wizard of Oz if people say it is a must-see, so just let me know. Thanks.

Most of it is just "Hey thats cool," but some of it makes you seriously trip out... even more so if you aren't in the right state of mind...

Yeah I did that and it really wasnt as cool as I thought it would be, seeing as how wizard of oz is a really really overrated movie and dark side of the moon is a really really overrated CD.

Yes it works. If you look hard enough someone has a video online that has the dialogue from Wizard of Oz cut out and Pink Floyd in its stead. It syncs up pretty well. Pretty cool.
As for Dark Side of the Moon being overrated...
Personally I think Pink Floyd (namely Dark Side) is oen of the best examples of music as a whole since the classical music from the 18th and 19th century. It may not be Floyd's best album, but as the last song pings it's final note it gives me the same feeling of a satisfactory finale that those great compositions from a century or two ago give me.
Yeah that's right, a 19 year old likes classical music (and opera).

Man, I did it one time...me and my friends sat back with some 80x Salvia (those of you who knows what it is knows what I mean ), but if you don't, it is a legal halucanogen. Anyways, we turned the music up, and hit that bong. It was, in my opinion, THE COOLEST, TRIPPIEST THING I EVER EXPERIENCED!! And that's saying A LOT coming from me.

Well, all I have to say about The Dark Side of The Moon is that the album was on the Billboard charts for 12 years!!! 12 years!!!! Come on now people. It is possibly the greatest selling album ever, and you can still go to any store and find a new copy of it (sometimes even on endcaps). I think that says it all.

I personally prefer the wall, but I am definately going to try this out now. Thanks a lot guys.
BTW does anyone know what video it is by them that starts, with a dark fuzzy screen and a deep breathing, like an animal. Then it is a really long commentary with interspersed space scenes. The last song on it is "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun". I watched it twice....but it is a little fuzzy right now....not really sure why, heh.

I do not hate pink Floyd! You're all insane, insane I tell you. Echoes is one of my favorite songs ever. And my favorite concert of all time is live in pompei. If you've heard Floyd's first or second CD's you'll think dark side of the moon is a steaming pile of shit. David gilmour himself said it was crap and roger waters didn't think it was anything special. All the goddamn floyd posers with their dark side of the moon shirts makes me mad. If you want a real good Floyd CD get animals.
